Brooklyn Funk Essentials DJ set & listening party
The cult funk ensemble Brooklyn Funk Essentials will release their fifth studio album‘Funk Ain’t Ova’ worldwide on Dorado Records on 13th November 2015.
Produced by band leader Lati Kronlund who co-founded BFE in the early nineties with Arthur Baker and who is known for his work with Alison Limerick, Frankie Knuckles and Jody Watley. The new album features the vocal talents of Papa Dee, Stephanie McKay and Joi Cardwell. It includes collaborations with Crystal Waters and the late great Isaac Hayes.
Join us for a sick but slick DJ set and listen to the new funk from the Brooklyn band.
