Outland Presents: Dana Jean Phoenix // Kalax and LeBrock
The Outland team kick off the Easter bank holiday weekend in style with a powerhouse synthwave
triple-header, featuring Canada’s Dana Jean Phoenix, Kalax and Lebrock. Outland will also be
spinning the best of classic and current synth and retrowave in between and after the 3x live
performance sets, and as always, expect amazing retro synth visuals accompanying each artist
performance.
Dana Jean Phoenix has gained a following in the international synthwave scene, collaborating with
production heavyweights like Gost, Perturbator, Nightcrawler Music, Highway Superstar and
Sunglasses Kid. Her original music has been featured on The Voice(US) and her collaboration with
Dutch dreamwave artist Timecop1983 'Dreams (Feat. Dana Jean Phoenix)', was featured in the
Netflix original films 'You Get Me' and 'Coin Heist' and the PS4/PC game 'Crossing Souls'.
Dana's latest album, 'PixelDust' is available on iTunes & Bandcamp, and features production from
Powernerd, Mecha Maiko, Till Wild, Straplocked, FAVORIT89, Satori in Bed, MikeGyver, and Patrick
Gill.

Kalax is the most talked about synthwave artist on message boards, NRW posts and among artists.
This elusive character started writing 80s movie influenced and cinematic scored soundscapes in
2013 and there’s no wonder he is the go-to guy for UK synth promoters and festivals since then.
There are whispers of a new LP out this year this legendary purveyor of true synthwave is bound to
play a bounty of old and new tunes.
And then, hailing from Peterborough, LeBrock are the 'Foo Fighters' of Synthwave. Complimenting
an energy-packed set with a visual palette of all things awesome 80s, this dynamic duo will retro-
rock your socks off! Upbeat melodic anthems with some electric guitar and woven together over
retro synthesizers, they will have you singing along and jumping up and down on the dance floor.
Put on your college jacket, roll up your sleeves and get ready for the ride of your life!
Travel: The venue is closest to Old Street Station, which is on the 24hr Northern Line, so there’s no
worries on home or hotel travel after midnight!

Emily Faye’s music is a sweet concoction of both Nashville and the English Countryside, her inspiration stems from a love of Songwriting, and a desire to tell her story. With her debut E.P ‘Here I Am’ recorded early 2017 during a trip to Nashville, hitting number 5 in the Country Music charts, and being named by Rolling Stone Magazine as ‘A New Country Artist You Need To Know’ Emily Faye is a name you are sure to hear a lot more of. Following a great year in music with her first debut EP release, First Tour - Write Like A Girl; promoting women in music, First BBC 2 Radio play by Whispering Bob Harris and first TV interview and session on BBC Look East and a number of festival slots throughout the Summer, Faye is back in the studio here in the UK, recording her next EP due for release in spring 2019!
Elliott Joseph - Originally from the south coast of England, Songwriter & Musician Elliott Joseph speaks from the heart on travel, friendships and the adventures of life with a musicality that hales from the roots of Country & Rock in the USA and Folk from England & Ireland.
With his 5 piece band, Elliott’s presence creates an energy that flows from the stage as performers and audience alike go on a captivating journey, lead by foot stomping country guitar licks, soaring Irish fiddle melodies, and soulful rock vocals.
With an air of Celtic inspiration, his brand new EP entitled “Wild Atlantic Heart”, released August 2018, is a soundtrack of enriched stories and nothing but pure, honest writing of travel, life and love.
Devon Mayson - Described by Andrew Marston, BBC Introducing, as ““Beautiful songs from an artist who’s been our BBC Introducing Track of the Week on so many occasions.”, Devon’s unique mix of country, folk and pop went on to become a favorite with BBC Radio 2’s Whispering Bob Harris.
Currently in the process of writing her second studio album, Devon has already been requested for several main stage slots at festivals across the UK with previous performances including The 100 Club, Brownstock Festival, Lakefest, The Warehouse in Harrogate and The Hammersmith Apollo.
