Live Circuit Presents: FloodHounds // Maggie Cassidy // Loralie // BABE PUNCH
Sheffield’s fast-paced, 3-piece indie-rock band, FloodHounds, throws you from British Indie rock to raw American blues and hits you with whatever is found in that swampy, turbulent, rock n roll intersection.
Striking you with a sound reaching out from the speakers like a British White Stripes, with a hint of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and a flash of the menacing groove of Queens of the Stone Age.
Maggie Cassidy is a five piece dirty pop band out of Guildford in Surrey. Formed in 2017 and named after an early Jack Kerouac novel, they’re ready to take their playful brand of intelligent pop music to a mainstream audience. These boys bring with them a relentless, energetic live show of strong material best described as sad songs you can dance to.
Wavy alt-rock outfit Loralie combine elements of heavy rock with the trip hop sound that brought them together in Bristol during 2015. Loralie present an immersive and escapist live performance, demonstrating the strengths of their last effort Sirens. The band express themselves through mood, melody and groove.
Babe Punch are a young, newly emerging alternative four piece from Nottingham/Derby. Described as “frenzied pop punk” (Louder Than War), Babe Punch shaped their distinctive sound around grunge and punk influences, defined by their individual inspirations.
