Lilium :: EP launch
The ever awesome LILIUM return to UNDERBELLY!!!
BBC Introducing’s finest, Lilium with a mixed heritage of Dominican, Columbian and Hungarian; create an awesome and interesting driven prog-pop, grunge eclectic. Compared to bands such as Wolf Alice, Silverchair, incubus and Foals, as well as being championed by Dave Monks of BBC introducing, Arielle Free of Virgin Radio and Jim Gellatly of Amazing Radio, they truly are an act not to be missed!
Sonitus – It would be highly unfair to simply label East London band Sonitus as one who creates one particular sound of rock. Whilst they indeed push the pedal to a full throttle of alternative, there flourishing melodies and switching instrumentation nods at everything from progressive metal to even hints of soul tones. However you choose to try to dissect it, it’s simply good, quality rock and roll. This is evident with their debut EP Kleptocracy.
EVERT OUTEN – Tropical indie with keys and melodies to match.
Zara – Alternative Rock for lovers of Savages, the Kills, Sonic Youth, Interpol, Black Keys, the Pixies, Tubeway Army, NIN, IAMX. Bringing you South London grunge and sweet melodies.
Sick Richard – are an energetic and abrasive three piece Post-punk, Alternative Rock band with varied influences including Joy Division, Pixies, The Cure, Sonic Youth, Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails. They combine raw vocals, angular and melodic guitar lines, complex bass grooves, slick powerhouse drums and ambient, ethereal synth sequences to create a rich, layered hard-hitting sound.
Primal Rust – Street Rock band based in London, thanks to the rough melodies, heavy drums, the groovy bass line and Hard and Bluesy guitars, this awesome band can be described as the true confirmation that Rock n Roll is not death.
Dan Fitzgerald – Dan is a singer songwriter from Kent, his upbeat yet heartfelt songs sang with a deep, emotional vocals will be sure to send you on a journey.
BOA – BOA’S are a five piece dance rock band based in North London. Formed in January 2018, they blend grooves reminiscent of the emergent funk and eventual disco of the 70’s with the hard-hitting guitar noise of the early 80’s post-punk pioneers. They are; Paul (Drummer extraordinaire) Alex (Bass player and tube enthusiast) Jean-Emile (jack of all trades, master of Saxophone and Keys) Liam (Guitar wielding dictator) and Natasha (Singer and glue holding it all together)7:30pm-11pm / £6 otd
