Eastern Heights with Far Out Monster Disco Orchestra

The soulful movement hits Hoxton Square for a Spring session!

We may still be under layers but nothing better than stripping them off with great music… and that’s what we are here for!

Far Out label boss, producer and DJ Joe Davis lands in Hoxton for the release of the talented collective Far Out Monster Disco Orchestra second album.

For over two decades, Far Out Recordings has been a frontrunner in bridging Brazilian music via samba, house, jazz, bossa nova and breakbeat with worldwide audiences.

And for the past 10 years the elements of Soul and Disco have been added to the list. Far Out Monster Disco Orchestra was created along David Brinkworth and Daniel ‘Venom’ Maunick with the elite of Brazilian musicians in full orchestral mode for a fresh New York Disco sound or shall we say… Discozilian style.

Not only to mention those who have remixed their tracks… John Morales, Theo Parrish, LTJ Xperience, among others.

‘Black Sun’ is the second release from Far Out Monster Disco Orchestra arriving on April 20 in Vinyl, CD and digital format.

JOE DAVIS’s set shall bring all the above under a fresh wrap.

Resident Alex Eugenio sets the mood with a stir of soulful sounds from 5pm.

And Zigfrid leaves Eastern Heights with an open patio and happy hour prices all night… Balearic Boogie ain’t get any better.

Our resident Alex Eugenio throws an extended set of Disco, Soulful House and Rare Grooves to heat us up and bloom our hearts.

Happy Hour all night and our heated patio for that spring breeze. Boogie, chill at our comfy sofas and snack some home cooking from the Ziggy kitchen!

Apart from the hearty cocktails on the shake by the lovely Ziggy mixologists – the kitchen is serving home cooking bites and brunch for you and your buddies.

Grab a couch and a space on the dance floor!

Galaxies Collide: Beth Keeping plus guests

Rocket Fuel presents the Galaxies Collide UK tour April 2018. The tour brings the UK’s most exciting emerging talent to a town near you. In each city there will be a different local headliner giving the acts a great opportunity to perform in front of new crowds on the tour.

Beth Keeping
Beth Keeping is known for her honest lyrics and captivating pure voice. She combines her love of storytelling and pop melodies to create songs that speak into and about real situations. Fresh back from another trip to Nashville, she is preparing to release her debut EP after a period spent writing for others.

Beth grew up in Surrey listening to singer-songwriters like Delta Goodrem, John Mayer and Martyn Joseph. She started singing and writing songs as a teenager, performing for the first time at Durham University open mic nights. After graduation Beth moved to London and began busking, gigging and writing with artists and songwriters across the UK. Her first single No Hard Feelings came out of the time she spent recovering from an injury, which inspired her to write more authentically about life and identity. In September 2016 the song won a PRS for Music GIGS Songwriting Prize.

In the last 2 years her search for new lyrical stories and influences has taken her on writing trips to Ireland, Estonia, Andalusia and America. Her debut EP is due early 2018.
