London Tap Jam

We can’t wait for the March edition of London’s only improvised tap dance and live music event at our fantastic venue Zigfrid Von Underbelly in Hoxton Square. Come along and discover a Shoreditch secret! (Evening Standard)

At London Tap Jam you will find the hottest improvised tap dance and live music that London has to offer! If you’re looking for a unique and exciting night out with a friendly crowd then you won’t want to miss this. Bring your friends and be prepared to be wowed!

This month we are excited to have the fantastic Ryan Campbell-Birch hosting and he will be joined by our brilliant live band, The Michèle Drees Trio, along with tap dancers from across the country and beyond. Join in on taps, on an instrument/vocals or just sit back and enjoy an amazing night!

From 7.15pm, LTJ presents the Renegade Stage. This month the fantastic Annette Walker will be giving dancers new to improvisation some informal tips. Bring your tap shoes and join in. IT’S FREE!

At 8pm the jam starts, featuring improvised tap dance and live music. Musicians and tap dancers are welcome to play – just tell Melody what you want to dance to and musicians speak to our band leader Michele Drees.
