London Tap Jam
First jam of the year with special guest from Barcelona, the amazing Roxane Butterfly!
Happy new year! London Tap Jam is back for the first jam of the year and to help mark the occasion we will be joined by a very special guest the underground tap dance icon Roxane Butterfly!
Come along and enjoy the hottest improvised tap dance and live music that London has to offer! If you’re looking for a unique and exciting night out with a friendly crowd then you won’t want to miss this. Bring your friends and be prepared to be wowed!
We are excited to have the fantastic Adele Joel hosting and she will be joined by our fantastic live band, The Michèle Drees Trio, along with tap dancers from across the country and beyond. Join in on taps, on an instrument/vocals or just sit back and enjoy an amazing night!
From 7.15pm, LTJ presents the Renegade Stage with the fantastic Annette Walker, who will be leading exercises for dancers new to improvisation. Bring your tap shoes and join in.
At 8pm the jam starts, featuring improvised tap dance and hosted by Adele Joel. Musicians and tap dancers are welcome to play – just tell Melody what you want to dance to.
