London Motion Meet-up for Motion Graphic Designers

Motion Meets is an evening meet-up for those of you who work in the motion graphics industry and want to talk shop with other pros.

Come along for a great start for 2018 with lots of shinny spheres and noise free renders!

This is a great opportunity to meet other industry creatives in London, talk about new work and your creative frustrations. The most important thing to do here is to have fun and relax as it’s very casual and is designed to help our members find new job opportunities, friends, partners etc.

The networking-only events are regular and (or at least for the time being) free, so why not stroll down and have a beer with your fellow motion geeks?

➡️ Look for us outside at the tables (if it’s not to cold) or inside. We will have a sign this time so it can be easier to identify were we are!

The Institutes // Miceberg // Silent Fiasco // Myles Morgan

post punk / psyche rock / indie

The Institutes – They started writing together last summer and had their debut live performance in August last year. From then on they’ve gone on to perform with Kings Of Leon at the Genting Arena and the superband YOTA (Gorillaz, Beady Eye), playing up and down the country. The Institutes debut single, Million Miles was recorded and produced by Gavin Monaghan (Editors). Self-released in February 2017, it enjoyed critical acclaim from the likes of Owen Morris (Oasis) who hailed it as “epic with stunning melodies” and Richard McNamara (Embrace) describing it as “Immense”. Psyche rock.

Silent Fiasco – Brixton-based alternative rock band Silent Fiasco craft music with complexity: their signature blend of cultures and ambivalence to genre cumulates in a dynamic, atmospheric sound that breaks the mould.
